About Farm of the Future

The Farm of the Future initiative began with the publication of the RASE Farm of the Future: Journey to Net Zero report in 2022. • The publication of an action guide for farmers, which was sent to every Farmers Guardian subscriber in summer 2023
  • The formation of three farmer action groups
  • Two farm study tours in Herefordshire and Lincolnshire
  • Farm demonstration events focusing on the following themes:
    • Regenerative agriculture
    • Farm scale AD

How to get involved

Joining a farm walk, demonstration event or even a webinar can be an excellent way to see understand how alternative technologies and practices can be implemented on-farm. Hearing from others’ experiences – the wins and the learnings – can be invaluable when considering next steps for your farm business.

Currently, all Farm of the Future events are free for farmers to attend. Details of upcoming events and webinars are shown here. RASE members can also access the archive of past webinars in the online member resources via the RASE website. Episodes of the Farm of the Future podcast are open to all and can be listened to here.
